In her work with Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC, Cherie Beasley works with criminal defendants facing trials at the state or federal court level. Committed to the principles of social justice, Cherie Beasley works to help her clients understand their legal position and advocates strongly on behalf of their constitutional rights. Prior to joining the skilled legal minds of Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC, Cherie Beasley was a criminal defense attorney in the Marin County Public Defender’s Office and an associate of a private South Bay-based criminal defense firm. In addition to criminal defense, Cherie Beasley also worked on immigration law.
Expertly educated, Cherie Beasley received her Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University in the dual fields of Criminal Justice and Organizational Communication. A strong student, Cherie Beasley enrolled at the University of San Francisco School of Law to study for her Juris Doctorate. While a student at USF, Cherie Beasley demonstrated substantial potential for her future professional success as the winner of numerous awards, including the Best Oral Argument award in 2005. Cherie Beasley was also a semi-finalist in the 2006 Advocate of the Year competition. Professionally, Cherie Beasley is a member of the California State Bar, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Bar Association.
Outside of her legal work, Cherie Beasley is highly involved in a variety of charitable organizations. Some of the organizations Cheri Beasley currently supports include the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, the American Cancer Society, and the American Red Cross.
